Steve Mayone leads off the Sandman Tribute Recordings with his brilliant reworking of "Cocoon". Steve is a songwriter living in Somerville, Massachusetts. Americana UK called Mayone "a master songsmith," while Miles of Music says, "Mayone ties up all of Americana, folk, classic and roots-rock, effortlessly flowing from one to the next and never at a loss for interest." Steve has toured Europe and the States as a solo artist and with Kris Delmhorst, Todd Thibaud and Alicia Corbett. To add to his previous releases Bedroom Rockstar, Unfortunate Son, and Understories, Steve is presently finishing his fourth CD, entitled Long Play Record, which will be released on the legendary Cambridge label Hi-n-Dry.
